Akpugo Garri Mill

family

In a bid to take the homeless children off the streets and help the less privileged, Kenkaren Services Limited which is owned by two of the founders of Caring Hands for Africa decided to build a cassava processing mill in Ndiagu Akpugo and dedicate its profits to Caring Hands for Africa.

This will help provide shelter, education, skill acquisition, and training for homeless children, widows, and the less privileged families. The cassava mill will produce for export Akpugo garri, cassava flour for baking, cassava flakes, cassava starch, ethanol, and syrup for pharmaceutical use. Cassava peels will be processed for animal feed, etc. There is no waste in cassava.
