Mary Anne Bennett is an entrepreneur and world traveler who has endeavored to make a difference in the
world since childhood. She is honored to be a part of Caring Hands for Africa, and the shared vision
of Karen and Ken to uplift people; one life at a time.
Mary Anne grew up attending a charitable church and often attended travel slideshows of teachers
working with her mother, or fellow church goers. These travelers opened Mary Anne's eyes to the way
people lived in other countries; the beauty there; but also the need in many places for clean water
and enough food. That was where and when her love of travel and helping others took root.
She currently lives near Orlando, FL and has co-owned a business for the past 13 years that assists
low income families with tax returns, government benefits, housing, and financial management. Her
"ministry" is helping people with the paperwork and coaching to start their own businesses; in order
to become self-sufficient.
As her client's children get jobs and need assistance, she does their work for free; just asking that
they go out in the world and perform three selfless acts for others.
